The Solstice is coming. It is official June 21st but we will have our Tomatoes Solstice Swim on Sunday the 18th at 8am. Bacon and or Egg Rolls a fire pot and a Hot Bev..... Put it in your calendar!
This swim is not for the faint hearted. It is officially the coldest swim of the year for our club swims. With a choice of 4 different distances:
200m Yellow buoy return,
700m Blue buoy return
1km Canal return
2km Point and return (if your actually mad)
We have a base camp where the fire pit will be roaring and the bbq will be sizzling.
Skins or wetsuit no rules apply........
Pack a hot thermos some warm towels and some dry clothes and meet at Bay View Park at 7:30am for a fresh start to the shortest day of the year.
